Description
Fan-coil units are based on the principle of conditioning the filtered air by passing it over a cold or hot surface (serpentine) with the help of a fan. The temperature of the ambient air (humidity at the same time during summer season operation) is controlled with fan-coil units. These devices provide cooling in summer and heating in winter. Air movement is provided in the environment. Air quality is improved by filtering the ambient air and mixing it with outside air according to your choice.
Fan-coil types to respond to architectural selection and application diversity; They can be selected as cassette or non-cassette, floor or concealed ceiling type, pressure type, high wall type or cassette four-way blow type.
In addition, they can be of single-coil (for 2-pipe system) or double-coil (for 4-pipe system) depending on the selected fan-coil system. In the two pipe fan coil system, there is only one coil in the unit. Pipes contain either hot or cold water. Accordingly, either heating or cooling can be done. In the four-pipe system, there are two separate coils in the fan-coil unit. The system contains both hot and cold water. Depending on whether the unit is heating or cooling at the moment, the valves allow hot or cold water to circulate through the relevant coil.
They are especially designed to be connected to the pressurized type fan-coil duct and to meet high external static pressure losses. Cassette four-way / one-way blown fan-coils have a very aesthetic appearance and can also be used in modular type suspended ceiling applications. Thanks to the drain pump, the condensate water can be removed without the need for a slope.
